Dr. James Cooke - Teaching and Learning in STEM

Join us for a presentation from Dr. Cooke, with a focus on the retention of course content, and how this can be improved using in-class and assessment techniques. Q&A portion included.

Dr. Cooke is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Division of Biological Sciences. After completing his PhD in Pharmacology from the University of British Columbia, he began his teaching career in biology. Dr. Cooke’s research focuses on retention of course content, and how this might be improved using certain in-class and assessment techniques.
